From 2009-2013, Case served in the Speechwriting Office for Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who he had worked for since 2006. In that role, Case was responsible for writing countless speeches, op-eds, statements and videos for the Secretary. He collaborated with senior policy and press operatives from across the government to produce effective, dynamic messages that moved beyond the typical, theoretical dialect of the State Department.
Prior to joining the State Department with the Secretary, he served in the U.S. Senate as her Regional Director for the Capital District of New York. He was also a member of her Intergovernmental Affairs office in New York City.
On her campaign for the Presidency in 2007 and 2008, Case traveled to nearly a dozen states either with her or on her behalf.
As founder of Button Communications, Case has written for Secretaries Clinton and Albright along with a variety of authors, businesses and private sector leaders.
A native of upstate New York, Case earned his political science and business degrees from Skidmore College.
